I updated my ps4 and now BOTH of my controllers started to move on their own
fixed my wifi and controller from disconnected 8.2 and 8.3 is working great
On my ps4 optical drive stopped working and it’s preventing my ps4 to update and because of it I can’t use my ps+ Can sony like don’t disable my entire ps4 with their fucking cyber attacks?!
I'm trying to install 8.03 but am stuck in a safe mode loop where I'm getting the error code CE-34788-0. Apparently the 8.03 file I downloaded from sonys website can't be used and I'm being promoted to start the process over again
The feature is cool, but I think the update broke a lot of things
This update(8.03) messed with Netflix for me. Whenever I'm watching something & try to turn off my controller instead of continuing to play it takes me back to the show's menu. I've contacting Sony about this & they recommended a factory reset which did not help. Used another controller & does the same thing.

its crazy that this is finally being added… woulda been nice to have this at launch or at least shortly after.
i think by now weve all gotten used to having to hunt down mic settings in game menus.
now if only they can fix the way downloads work.
basically the download manager is garbage lol.
it auto-unpauses downloads you have on the back burner and only downloads 3 at a time… been wanting them to fix that since launch, even emailed them and hit up their suggestion forum thing too, yet here we are still with the same untouched broken DLM.
ive also wanted them to fix folders too, when opening a folder it should be a 5xX grid rather than XMB.
i also hate the update that added the congreluted messy TV Video 1 stop app.
i used to have a folder that had ONLY what i had installed in it.
this new thing is just wrong!
having to open it up be hit with shit thats on a service you dont have like a constant ad service for netflix and shit… like all i wanna do is catch up on YT, yet i have to hunt it down now just to watch it.

Ok is been a couple of days since the update should i update or no??.?.?.?. So far as i was reading peoples comments seems there’s a lot of problems,
like the Internet connectivity it connects and disconnects or it just won’t connect at all, other’s got log out the console and others got a black/blue screen others just stock on safe mode for eternity, i mean i can’t play online since i have the old version update 7.55 i HAVEN’T update or downloaded the new update at all but for me to be online is forcing me to update but i won’t I’m just wandering how is now people doing so far..?.?..?..?.?

8.3 Update ruined my PS4
Slower than 1998 dial up takes 10 minites to load up and then 2 to 3 minites every button i hit. Like to look at friends or go to playstation store or go to notifications anything it takes 2 to 3 minites. Load up a game takes 10 minites. If i go to safe mode takes 10 to 15 minutes to reboot. Any game i try to play crashes my system. Completely ruined my ps4 and its 4 months old!!!

pls man i had a problem with my ps4 since the 8.01 update and it's brocken and unable to play with since that update .i baught yesterday an other harddrive and it apears another problem wiht this new update ( 8.03 ) because in safe mode i can only use unitialize ps4 (reinstall software systeme ) and when i follow the steps and plug in the usb device it won't recognize it i have tryed this many times i'm so done pls anyone help me if you read this comment man i just wanna have some fun at night after a long day of work :''

I can no longer use my controller in any game, unless I first disconnect it then reconnect it, the problem is whenever I’m in the menu, if i were to press CIRCLE in the menu, it would do it in the game as well, I also cannot use the R2 button, I’m hoping when the next update comes out it’s fixed, until then it’s basically unusable
